NEW JAUCH-TCXOS: HIGHEST PRECISION FOR BLUETOOTH, WIFI, ZIGBEE ETC
Whether it’s Bluetooth, ZigBee, WiFi or SigFox; these standards for wireless data transmission operate with extremely low high-frequency channel bandwidths. Wireless applications using these standards thus rely on a highly precise reference clock to guarantee smooth functioning.In order to meet the needs of these applications, Jauch Quartz has advanced the development of its JT-series, launching the JT21S. This new component is a temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO), characterized by an excellent frequency stability of up to ± 0.5 ppm. The JT21S thus works even more precisely than the other components of the JT product family. The improved pad layout also ensures optimum compatibility with almost all applications.
Under the designation JT21SV, Jauch also offers the new component as VCTCXO with additional voltage control. This enables the user to fine-tune the desired output frequency by at least ± 8.0 ppm.
The JT21S and JT21SV are available in the frequency range from 9.5 MHz to 52.0 MHz. Their operating voltage ranges from 1.8 Volt to 3.3 Volt. Thanks to their "clipped sine" output, typical for the JT-series, both oscillators have very low current consumption.
Measuring only 2.6 mm x 1.6 mm x 0.7 mm, the JT21S and JT21SV are the smallest members of the JT product family and are therefore ideally suited for the use on particularly compact PCBs and circuits. Both components are available for the industrial operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C.
Besides IoT applications, metering solutions or consumer products benefit from the excellent frequency stability of the new components. Additionally, Jauch recently introduced its newly developed TCXOs JT21G and JT21GE for use in satellite-based navigation systems.
The JT21S and JT21SV are both 100 percent lead-free and RoHS and REACH compliant. Both also comply to conflict minerals regulations.
